To be, or not to be…
All the vocabulary in the world, is useless if you can’t use it in a sentence. Let’s talk about the word “sein”, which is just “to be”.
Where?
One of the most common reasons to even start a conversation with a complete stranger is to simply ask where something is. Obviously this is not a very long blog post, as there are only so many ways to ask where something is. I will throw some vocabulary at you as well though, just some of the most common things you may ask.

Alright, so lets get to what I consider the most important thing of any traveling. The food. If you go to Germany or any of the other German speaking countries, you will want to eat the food, right? Of course you do, Germans love their meat, breads and potatoes. It’s awesome. Let’s go over a few things you may need to know if you go.

More than just “Guten Tag!”
Let’s be real here, every conversation starts with some sort of greeting, right? It could be the simple head nod with the casual “Sup?” or the more elaborate “Good evening, Sir!”. Obviously this is the case in Germany to. People don’t walk around saying “Guten Tag” in every situation. So let’s have some fun going over a few different Greetings.
