One of the most common reasons to even start a conversation with a complete stranger is to simply ask where something is. Obviously this is not a very long blog post, as there are only so many ways to ask where something is. More than just “Guten Tag!”

Let’s be real here, every conversation starts with some sort of greeting, right? It could be the simple head nod with the casual “Sup?” or the more elaborate “Good evening, Sir!”. Obviously this is the case in Germany to. People don’t walk around saying “Guten Tag” in every situation. So let’s have some fun going over a few different Greetings.
